Today i got a little bit of a peek into fear based brainwashing of "the masses".

At dinner mom asked me what i was doing today. Today i was watching/listening to 911 (the terrorist attacks on the WTC/pentagon) truth videos while playing world of warcraft (which i have just barely uninstalled again to encourage myself to make myself more usefull). I was investigating the attacks and said so and that the american government did not investigate the incident properly and that it is being used as justification to eliminate the rights of the american people, mom tried corrected me by saying that they are inhibitting human rights thus downplaying it and i responded "exactly, they'r eliminating them". At one point dad asked me if i believe that the american government put bombs in the 2 WTC towers and i dont remember what i said but it was not a deniel or total affirmation. I do and did deny that it was airplanes causing them to collapse. Dad stated that he saw it himself that the planes caused the towers to crash (which i suppose what he concludes from TV). Then before i got to explaining (going to actual content) and asking them to look at it for themselves dad stated that we can be made to believe anything and that he doesnt see the need to look into this. He compared the situation to the loss of a colonel or generals son that was killed in afghanistan lately and that some conspiracy theories arose from that (such as the taliban saying they specificly targetted the generals son) and that people will come up with conspiracy theories all the time and if looked at he and others might appear plausible so he won't, because its absurd.

So dad has basicly admitted he cannot distinquish truth from lies and doesnt care to know it either and i will say so tomorrow. Not knowing amd caring is a most evil thing in my understanding.

Mom also stated that the media has properly voiced the relevant thoughts on this. How strange. I have many more experiences with them that reinforce my feeling of having vastly different thoughts, values and principles that simply dont go to together at all and this is becoming more obvious every day.
